    About Us

Please allow us to introduce ourselves.  Michindoh was originally formed as Tri-State Pullers.  Tri-States' main class at the time was the two-wheel drive class, although there was a small following of pro-stock four-wheel drive trucks.  In 1995, the Tri-States Pullers renamed  the club to Michindoh, which is the abbreviation for Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio.  Michindoh has seen much growth and change.  This is possible because of the strong group of members that are also pulling competitors.

All members must pay a yearly $30.00 Michindoh membership fee and each pulling vehicle a $30.00 yearly fee.  Everyone except the non-point classes will pay a yearly fee.  Every non-member will pay an additional $5.00 for administration fees per event.  Only those vehicles who pay their yearly fee ($60) in full will have the right to vote on the rules.  This allows each vehicle one vote for Michindoh meetings.  Make checks payable to Michindoh Pulling Association.

            Mail to:   Tim Hoffman, 6901 N 450 W, Decatur, IN 46733

A Michindoh safety tech or officer will be in charge of track preparation and maintenance.  All event personnel will be under their supervision.  Failure of event personnel to comply will mean cancellation of the event.  This rule has been added to provide better pulling tracks.

Points will be awarded in the 6200lb. Super stock 2WD, 6200lb. Altered 4WD, the 10,000;b. Hot Farm Tractor, and the 8000lb. Hot Street Diesel classes.  You must have paid for each driver membership and the vehicle membership to be in the points fund.  Points are awarded to the vehicle, not to the driver.  The top vehicle of each class will win a plaque for 1st place and free entry for the next season.

You may protest (if you are a yearly member) to have any vehicle pumped the night of a pull by presenting $100.00 to the president. If the vehicle is found to be illegal, the person being protested must pay the $100.00. You may also protest to have a vehicle torn down. The person protesting must bring $500.00 cash to the president. The protest will be discussed. If the vehicle in question is to be torn down, it will have the option to do it at the track or at the nearest suitable location. If the vehicle in question is legal, it will keep the $500.00 cash. Any vehicle found illegal and refuses to be protested or teched, it will be barred from competition for one year. Unless,  they are willing to pay a reinstatement fee of $500.00 to the club. Any money and points to date, and won the day of the protest will be refunded. If the vehicle in question refuses to refund winnings, the amount of those winnings will be added to the reinstatement fee.  The Tech. Official has the right to have a valve cover pulled on any vehicle they feel may be in violation of any rules without a protest fee.
